Mirella Martin is the heart and creative force behind Mira’s Formal & Bridal Wear Alterations. With over 28 years of experience in tailoring and garment design, she has dedicated her career to helping clients feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in perfectly fitted clothing.

Her journey began with a passion for creating and transforming garments, first for friends and family, and soon for a growing community of clients who trusted her eye for detail and craftsmanship. Over the past 14 years, Mirella has specialised in bridal and formal wear, working with hundreds of brides and their wedding parties, from bridesmaids to mothers of the bride ensuring every piece reflects elegance and individuality.

As CEO, Mirella leads with care, professionalism, and a personal touch. She believes that every garment tells a story, and every client deserves to feel heard and supported. Her commitment to quality, honesty, and exceptional service has shaped the welcoming family business that Mira’s is today.

Bruno – Head of Welcoming Committee 🐾

Bruno, our friendly red fox Labrador, is the much-loved mascot of Mira’s. Born on 5 May 2025, he brings warmth, smiles, and a calm presence to our studio. While he may not know much about hems and corsets, he’s an expert in greeting clients and making everyone feel at home.

You might spot Bruno during your visit, offering a gentle tail wag and a little bit of joy to your fitting experience. He’s proof that at Mira’s, you’re not just a customer , you’re part of our family.

Zhivko Stoyanov – Business Manager

Zhivko supports the day-to-day running of Mira’s Formal & Bridal Wear Alterations, ensuring everything behind the scenes works smoothly for our clients. From appointments and customer care to business development, he helps create the calm and welcoming experience that Mira’s is known for.

With a strong focus on organisation and customer service, Zhivko believes that every client should feel valued and supported from the first enquiry to the final fitting. His role allows Mirella to focus on what she does best creating beautifully tailored garments , while he ensures the business continues to grow and serve the community with care and professionalism.

Wanda – Alterations Specialist

Wanda has been a trusted part of the Mira’s team for over three years, bringing skill, care, and dedication to our everyday alterations. Originally from Poland, she has a strong background in sewing and garment work, and her attention to detail makes her an invaluable member of our family business.

Wanda supports a wide range of alterations, from formal wear to everyday garments, always working with patience and precision. We trust her expertise completely, and her calm, friendly nature helps create the welcoming atmosphere our clients appreciate.
